What is Miss Winona Steamboat Days:
The Miss Winona legacy has experienced many changes in it’s 79 years!
The Winona Steamboat Days organization is proud to continue the to be the sponsor of the Miss Winona Steamboat Days scholarship competition!
Focusing on our community and investing in furthering local women’s education is important to both organizations. Because of this new collaborative endeavor the scholarship contributions have increased to over $6,500 a year!
This year’s Miss Winona Steamboat Days will receive a $3500 scholarship in addition to attending several celebrity events during Steamboat Days week including an autograph signing session with both Miss Minnesota and Miss America 2025
She will also have the opportunity to participate in the parade on the Steamboat Days float along with the new Harbor Master and attendants.
This year’s competition is solely focused on putting WINONA at the center of being Miss Winona Steamboat Days.
To compete, all that is required is an essay and an interview with a panel of 5 community members. This new opportunity is open to women ages 17-22 that have graduated from or are currently attending a school within Winona County and currently reside within Winona County.
Essays are due May 9th, 2025!
