“Steamboat Models of the Mississippi”

Over a dozen scale-models of paddle wheelers that once chugged up and down the Mississippi, many docking in early Winona, will be exhibited by the Winona County History Center this summer.

Tales of their captains and crew will be told and many family friendly gallery activities will be offered. The exhibit will also feature images from the Society’s Ralph DuPae Collection consisting of over 60,000 steamboat images and items from the Wilike Steamboat.

The Winona County History Center is open weekdays 9 – 5pm and weekends 12 -4pm.
