The Winona Steamboat Days Festival Committee unveiled a poster to commemorate the 70th Annual Steamboat Days Festival June 14 – 18th, 2017.   The poster was unveiled to the Winona City Council during Monday night’s meeting.  The Steamboat Days committee commissioned Keenan Schultz to design and paint the poster.  Jesse Lanik was the graphic artist for the project.

The poster features Princess Winona and Sugarloaf to represent Winona, a marching band member represents the parade and a Merry-go-round and Ferris Wheel dedicates the carnival.   A classic steamboat is the center of the poster that includes a burst of fireworks.

The print is 16″ x 20″.  There are a limited number of prints available for sales beginning Monday, June 12.  You can pick up yours at HyVee or the Leighton Broadcasting studios for $20.00.

Keenan has family in the Winona area.  He was selected as the Austin High School Artist of the year in 2016 and his 2016 entry in the Minnesota Duck Stamp contest was selected as the runner-up.
