Steamboat Days Captain and Mate

Elliot and Madeline Wagner were chosen as Captain and First Mate for Steamboat Days 2026
after the Kiddie Parade Friday June 19 at Winona’s Lake Park. Their parents are Mike and Leslie
Wagner.
Miss Winona Steamboat Days Mandy Duellman, Princess of the Starboard Patience King-Henke
and Princess of the Port Watch Erica Beckman participated in the final drawing of their names
from the five finalist couples.
Elliot and Madeline were honored with a ride on the Steamboat Days Float with Miss Winona
Steamboat Days and court, Button Design Winner Abby Hoffman and Harbor Master Andy
Wojciechowski in the Steamboat Days Grande Parade Sunday, June 21st.
The Theme for the Kiddie Parade this year was “ Time Travel”. The First Place winner of the
Kiddie Parade Float Contest was TLC Tender Loving Care, with an “old time” train. First Place
earned them a spot in the Grand Parade!
This year’s Kiddie Parade after party featured a fun kids concerts with Bob the Beach Comber
sponsored by WNB Financial that also sponsored the hot dog lunch.
