Request for Harbormaster Nominations
The Winona Steamboat Days Festival Committee is seeking nominations for
Steamboat Days Harbormaster 2017! This person will preside over the 70th Annual Steamboat Days! Do you know someone that is a wonderful Winona Community Volunteer? Someone that has given their time, talent, and heart to make Winona a better place? Please nominate this person for Steamboat Days Harbormaster 2017!
To make a nomination please send your reference for this person including
their name, contact info, resume of community service, volunteer groups that
they belong to, church, employer, and examples of their commitment to
Winona!! You must include your contact information – however your name can
remain anonymous.
The Winona Steamboat Days Harbormaster will be honored during Steamboat Days. The Harbormaster will also participate in the Kiddie Parade on Friday June 16 and the Grand Parade on Sunday, June 18 along with other official duties.
The Steamboat Days 2016 Harbormasters are Irene and Al Mulyck. Al and Irene volunteer for their community both individually and as a couple for many area organizations including St Mary’s Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Knights of Columbus, Habitat for Humanity, Winona Health Auxiliary, Holiday Happiness, Fantasy of Trees, Jewelry Sale, Winona History Center, American Legion, Winona Area Chamber of Commerce on several committees, including Chamber Ambassadors, Family Night on the Farm and Brat Booth, Miss Winona Pageant, Miss Winona Float, Visit Winona, Meals on Wheels, Trinona and many more.
