Joella Goyette Announced 2018 Button winner

The Winona Steamboat Days Festival Association unveiled the 2018 Button Design and announced its designer at Winona Senior High School Friday, May 11th to WSHS Band fanfare.  This year’s design winner is Joella Goyette, a 10th-grade student at Winona Senior High School, and daughter of Chris and Jackie Goyette.   Joella is a trumpeter in the WSHS band.

As the Design Winner, Joella received a plaque with her winning design, a personalized button to wear during steamboat days, t-shirt with her design on it, 2 glasses with her design, and carnival armbands for her family.   She will ride in the Kiddie Parade and Steamboat Days Grande Parade

Steamboat Days will also award prizes for Second Pace to Amanda Guillen, Junior at Winona Senior High School, and Third Place to Carmelle Meyer,  a 7th grader at Bluffview Montessori School.

Steamboat Days buttons will be available for sale at most Winona convenience stores, retailers, restaurants,  Midtown Foods and HyVee by May 19th.   With your advance button purchase of $5.00, you can register to win many great prizes donated by a variety of area merchants including a new picnic table from Anova.
