“Journey Down the River”
June 19 12:05 p.m. at the Winona County History Center
In celebration of Winona’s Steamboat Days, take a trip down the Mississippi River in Minnesota with photographer and speaker, Doug Ohman. The Mississippi River flows along for nearly 700 miles touching many villages, towns and cities in its route from Lake Itasca to the Iowa border. Doug has explored much of the rivers history, culture and of course beauty through his photography and personal stories. Enjoy America’s best loved river from the front (bow) seat of a canoe. Sponsored by Jim and Ruth Erickson. Food for Thought programs are free and open to the public, attendees are welcome to bring their lunch.
