The Twin Cities star has twin careers in radio and on the stage, and will open Steamboat Days with a show in the Beverage Garden the evening of Wednesday, June 14.

Hawkey co-hosts the top-rated Power Trip Morning Show on sports giant KFAN, and is a regular contributor to the Vikings Radio Network.

Since he was, a teen Hawkey has also performed with several bands before launching his solo career with the release of a Nashville-produced record in 2014. He has since released three additional albums, and has appeared throughout the United States as both headliner and opening act for country superstars.

Hawkey’s high-energy shows have become well known in the region, and he’s looking forward to his first appearance in Winona. He will follow opening act TravAce and the Generators. Admission will be just $5.00 plus a Steamboat Days button. Buttons will be available throughout Winona for $5.00 before Steamboat Days and available at the gate for $10.00.
