Miss Winona Steamboat Days 2024 Competition: A Chance to Represent Winona and Continue Your Education

The Miss Winona Steamboat Days 2024 competition is here!
This new chapter to the 88 years of Miss Winona legacy offers the incredible opportunity for high school and college students in the Winona area to represent their hometown community while earning funding towards furthering their education.
The competition requires a one-page essay and interview with a panel of judges on June 12th, 2024. The winner will
receive a generous $3,000 scholarship from the Steamboat Days Committee to put towards loans or furthering their education.
But that’s not all! The winner will also have the chance to participate in the Steamboat Days parade, Goodview Days parade, Community Autograph Signing with Miss Minnesota 2023 and Miss America 2024,vand other community event. Additionally, she can compete as an at-large title at Miss Minnesota 2024, if they so choose to.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your talents and represent your community on a larger stage.
Joining the Miss Winona sisterhood is an incredible way to share your story and the outpour of support from the Winona community is absolutely unforgettable. This is an 88-year-old legacy that you can be a part of and continue to inspire future generations of young women.
The day of the competition will include time for interviews, a luncheon to celebrate this new chapter, and the crowning will be open and free to the public to attend at the Harbor Master Ribbon Cutting that evening at Levee park.
This is a chance for students to highlight who they are, grow their interview skills, and compete for the title of Miss Winona Steamboat Days 2024. In addition to the main title, there will be two additional titles for Miss Winona Steamboat Day’s attendants. During this new chapter of a 2/3rd’s of a century legacy, the ultimate goal is to truly put WINONA in the center of being Miss Winona Steamboat Days.
There will be an informational zoom on April 18th at 5pm for contestants and their families.
