Debbie Greenwood – 2013 Harbormaster

Over the past few years the Winona Steamboat Days committee and Past Harbormaster group has “broke In” on a  Big Brother Big Sister meeting, a softball game, a Chamber Ambassador meeting and  a breakfast club.  Just to name a few of their surprise cappings. Friday night the Steamboat Days crew gathered at the American Legion under the pretense of selling buttons where,  conveniently,  it was  Taco Night and the Executives were playing.  Bill Reinarts, 2012 Harbormaster stepped to the front of the band with other Steamboat Days Committee members, surprised and capped  Debbie Greenwood as the 2013 Harbormaster.

Debbie Greenwood has received the Athena Award.  This award is presented to a person who  is honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.

Debbie attended Minnesota State College  Sales and Management program where Bob Olson was her teacher and mentor and became a wonderful friend.  Since then she has served on the  Minnesota State College SE Technical Foundation Board and received the  Outstanding Alumni Award.
