2016 Button Design Winner Announcement

The Winona Steamboat Days Festival Association unveiled the 2016 Button Design and announced its designer at Winona Senior High School Wednesday afternoon. This year’s design winner is Grace Going, daughter of Cheri Peterson. Grace is an 11th-grade
student at Winona Sr. High. This year the contest was open to only high school students grades 9 – 12.
As the Design Winner, Grace will received a plaque with her winning design, a ride in the Kiddie Parade and Steamboat Days Grande Parade, personalized button to wear during steamboat days, t-shirt with her design on it, drinking glasses, and carnival armbands for her family. Steamboat Days will also award prizes for Second Pace to Destiny Kronebusch, 11th grade WSHS and

Steamboat Days buttons will be available for sale at most Winona convenience stores, retailers, restaurants, Midtown Foods and HyVee by May 20th.
