The Winona Steamboat Days Captain and Mate were chosen by drawing after the Kiddie Parade Friday, June 18. The 2010 Captain is Cale Beckman, age 6 son of Deb and Dean Beckman and Mate is Emma Koehler, Age 6, daughter of Jennifer and Kiel Koehler. The Captain and Mate along with their crew each received 4 free ride tickets to the Steamboat Days Carnival and a Happy Meal courtesy of McDonalds of Winona.

The Winona Steamboat Days Festival Association hosted the 63nd Annual Steamboat Days Grande Parade Sunday June 20th on East Broadway, Winona. More than 78 Units participated in the parade that ranged from stellar high school bands, Shrine Units and area clubs.
Parade Units vied for trophies in 8 categories. High School Bands earned Trophies in five categories.
